The Camco pedal is the original chain drive pedal. The pedal by which all later pedals shall be judged. The geometry of which is still the main basis for 90% of kick pedals on the market today.

This one was made by Tama in the 1980s, after Camco folded. The foot board is a little wider than 60s/70s Camcos, but it still has the same big round cam, and it's a joy to play.

Gene Hoglan played this type of Tama/Camco pedal on all of the records we know to be classic "Gene Hoglan." No, we don't really understand how he did it either, but it's well documented on his Atomic Clock DVD. Yeah, heel down, and in those insane boots.

This one is in good mechanical shape, and ready to rock for many years to come!
