Joe Calato, inventor of the Regal Tip nylon tip drumstick, had an idea for a bass drum pedal, that was sort of like the Rogers Swiv-O-Matic, but had a spring system involving two springs and a geared cam.

This one is in very good mechanical shape, but it does have a replacement beater, and like most vintage pedals would probably do well with a nice bath of 3-In-One Oil.
