This is about as good as it gets for an American-made Zildjian. From the 1950s, when Zildjian were still hammering cymbals by hand!
That's right! This is a hand-hammered A Zildjian! This is what it's supposed to be, y'all.
This one has somehow survived the years without any cracking or keyholes, and it doesn't even really have a ton of patina for how old it is!
This is one of the lighter 22s we've seen from this era, and it's got this wonderful airy wash with just a touch of dryness in the stick definition, and a tall, strong bell. Wonderful for pretty much everything you can imagine.
