Sonor AQ2 150th Anniversary 6-Piece Maple Shell Pack

In early 2025, SONOR kicked-off its 150th Anniversary year with the release of its high end and very limited
anniversary products.
However, we didn’t want to stop there. Because we want to celebrate 150 years of SONOR with all SONOR
fans, we are proud to introduce the 150th Anniversary AQ2 Shell Set.

Similar to our regular AQ2s, these drums feature 100% maple shells made from a combination of North
American and Chinese maple. Ebony replica veneer is used for the outer ply of the shells and the bass drum
hoops. As on all high end SONOR drums, the veneer is set vertical. It is finished with clear high gloss lacquer.
In terms of hardware, these drums use SONOR’s proven AQ-series shell hardware, including the die cast AQ
lugs with TuneSafe, the SMART Mount tom suspension system and the DTH 4000 double tom holder.
All badges feature an embossed 150th Anniversary logo. Additionally, the Bass Drum is outfitted with an
exclusive anniversary logo head.

The 150th Anniversary AQ2 Shell Set is limited to 500 pieces worldwide.
