Built to last: A quick note: the leather has a waterproof outer layer- it can look a bit like plastic but it is super strong. It's a Patent leather 1.3mm thick.

Soooo there can't be an M100 without an M50! Mix and match weights. Adds about 1-2 db of compression, tame low hum, and use the simple magnet on/off feature. The most targeted drum damper Snareweight makes. Great for touch ups on snare and toms when you are almost right there-- for the floor we still recommend the M80.

"Does the M50 gram get an amount of dampening somewhere between M1b fully open or M1b wings that are folded?

Note: We love the M50 at the shop but note it is made to shorten the sustain but keep the good ring. It won't dampen all the ring from your snare but tighten it up and give it more punch keeping the shell open around the rim of the drum.

*Remember the M50 will work with any size drum;(8",9,10,12,13,14,16,18, etc.) Dampen in a snap or disengage even faster with the magnetic on/off feature. Works with triple flange hoops, die cast, angel hoops, true hoops, 1/4" wood."
