The 22″ HHX Wide Lip China features a massive lip that encompasses half of the cymbal. This larger edge allows you to dig in for a louder, roaring sound. Unlike most other Chinas, you can also play it lightly to conjure a softer sound, reminiscent of a crash or suspended cymbal.

Despite a massive presence, the HHX Wide Lip China is quite controllable and capable of riding or crashing. Its striking profile creates a dark, musical, metallic shimmer with ample volume potential. The unique bell and edge sounds sit separately and can also be combined for a mesmerizing effect. It also works well with mallets.
