Meinl did it. They made a pair of hats that's everything all at once. The unlathed center keeps them somewhat dry and well-defined, and the thinner lathed brilliant-finished outer portion makes them sensitive and delicate, with just enough shimmer to keep them from getting buried in a mix.

These are the goldilocks hats!

These are in great shape. No cracks, no keyholing, and barely any evidence of use. Why pay $569 for a new pair when you can get these for so much less?
