While birch rod bundles are great for most applications, some drummers simply need more durability. With Shoots, 19 bamboo dowels are formed into the hexagonal shape that continues into the grip area. We finish them off with our hard wearing X-Grip. Bamboo is heavier and more flexible than birch and is extremely durable, making Shoots a great choice for heavy hitters who may not want a lot of bounce at lower volume levels.
