The signature snare drum of Charlie Benante, drummer for thrash metal heroes Anthrax, utilizes a 1.2mm thick stainless steel shell with a slightly deeper than normal 6.5" depth. This snare drum produces the heavy volume and rich sound needed to match Benante's powerful drumming style. Black nickel parts also add to the mystique of this drum by giving it a fierce look.
